Hi Maria, please tell us a little about you?
My name is Maria Labate, I just turned 14 years old and I am a singer! 🙂
Who was your role model as a child?
My role model for singing is Ariana Grande because she is so talented and her range is incredible.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
My parents and my brother because they are so supportive of what I want to do!
Did you go to music school?
I will be entering high school next year and I have never gone to music school.
When did you first start singing and performing?
I first started singing when I was around 4 but i started to perform in front of people around 3 years ago.
Now tell us about your new single “Heartless”,How do you think it introduces you to fans?
My new song “Heartless” is about someone you loved and cared about treating you bad, hurting you and it is also about standing up for yourself, and not being a second choice. I think people really enjoyed “Heartless”
Do you have plans to play out live a lot this summer in support of your new music?
This summer I am planning to make a lot of new music!
Who would you love to work with in the future? Who are some of your favorite artists right now?
I have a lot of new exciting collaborations coming with great people! (can’t say names) but I think everyone will really enjoy them! 🙂
What’s next for you? What we can expect of Maria in 2020?
You can expect some new originals and new covers with instruments! I am currently learning guitar and I am getting a ukelele!
